Recommended Use: Traditional herbal medicine for the relief of sore throat and cough due to colds.
Recommended Dose: 1 mL (25 drops) 3 times daily, or 7–8 drops every half hour to a maximum of 75 drops daily, in a glass of water, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take at the first sign of infection. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks.
Cautions & Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a kidney disorder, blood pressure problems, an autoimmune disorder, a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection, or if you are taking immunosuppressants. Consumption of goldenseal with alcohol, other medications, and/or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Rare cases of severe allergic reactions have been known to occur; use caution if you are allergic to plants of the Daisy family. Keep out of the reach of children.
