Often combined with glucosamine, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) also helps support cartilage and restore its flexibility. Its ability to make the cells more permeable means nutrients pass through the cell walls more easily while metabolic waste is efficiently transported out of the cell.
An organic sulfur compound, MSM is also very helpful for the skin, providing hydration and structural support for a more youthful appearance. (MSM works in synergy with vitamin C to build collagen.)
