Psyllium Husk is a natural source of dietary fiber, mainly soluble fiber, is a great supplement to reduce calorie value by replacing starch. Psyllium husk contain more than 80 percent total dietary fiber (65-70 percent soluble, 10-15 percent insoluble), 5 times more soluble fiber than wheat or oat bran.
Recommended Use: Provides gentle relief of constipation and/or irregularity. (Unflavoured).
Recommended Dose: 1 tbsp (6g).
Cautions & Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner/health care provider /health care professional/doctor/physician if symptoms worsen or if laxative effect dose not occur within seven days (Pray 2006; Repchinsky 2002). Consult a health care practitioner/health care provider/health professional/doctor/physician immediately if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this products. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain,nausea,vomiting or fever (as these could be signs of other serious conditions).
Known Adverse Reactions: Do not use this products if you have difficuly swallowing. Do not use this products if you have diabetes mellitus in which blood sugar is difficult to regulate. Do not use this products if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defaecate following the use of another laxative product.
Contra-Indications: Stop use if hypersensitivity/ allergy occurs.
May cause temporary gas and/or bloating. May contain: Sesame, mustard and soy.
